Eylo

(Emilia Hilgers) grew up in the small town of Ojai California. After graduating from Besant Hill High School, she was awarded a full tuition songwriting and vocal scholarship by Lollapalooza, which led her across the country to Berklee College of Music. During her time in Boston, eylo has performed in Rob Lewis’ “The Show” (an annual concert to showcase Berklee’s most noteworthy performers). She also has held concerts showcasing her own original music at venues across campus. She produces her own arrangements, which often involved up to fifteen musicians at a time.

In order to fully realize her own artistic vision, eylo began producing her own songs in Ableton. She strives to bridge the divide between the electronic and natural realms. She loves sampling sounds from the earth, then utilizing granular synthesis and effects to build a sonic world that feels like her home.

eylo

began writing and producing for other artists more seriously during her first year at Berklee College of Music.

She quickly caught the attention of top songwriters and producers, with whom she has been able to collaborate with on projects for some of her favorite artists.

Her vocal adaptivity allows her to emulate a variety of styles and sounds, allowing her to write, produce, and sing artist briefs independently as well.
